Dheri Wattan Primary School, district Bhimber, AJK.
Currently, there is a school operating in a rented building which has been converted into classrooms. The crammed make-shift school is poorly lit, has a lack of ventilation and the number of students keep fluctuating due to non-availability of required classroom space. Safety and security is a primary concern for all parents, especially when they are sending their daughters to school.
The proposed primary school will have capacity for 240 students between the ages of 4-11 who will benefit from a quality education. Freehold land for this school build has already been acquired. More than 70% of READ teachers are women which gives the parents reassurance that their daughters are safe.
