Change4Life School Launch at Costcutter Denmark Hill
Healthy eating was top of the menu for local residents after youngsters helped to launch Change4Life at Costcutter Denmark Hill
The shop now sells a wider range of fruit and vegetables, delivered fresh from Spitalfields market every day to guarantee great freshness.
Children from Lyndhurst Primary School visited the shop to find out more about the importance of eating well and left with fresh fruit for themselves and class mates . Class teacher Gemma Dawson said” The children were really excited about coming to the store and they received a very warm welcome from staff. They particularly liked the healthy eating quiz. It was a great success and we would love to be invited again”
Costcutter signed up to the Department of Health’s campaign that aims to make it easier for people to eat healthier. Costcutter want local people to know that they can buy quality fresh fruit and vegetables locally and that they will find it that bit easier t cook healthy meals for themselves and their families
